DynaStage
Visual Stage Design

Draw thematch.Let the rulesdraw themselves.

DynaStage turns stage design from spreadsheet, sketch, and stress into a single visual canvas. Drag targets where they go, place fault lines, mark the start position — and watch DynaStage validate everything against BDS rules in real time. Brief generated. PDF ready. Sanctioning queued.

What DynaStage does

Designed to be
used, not learned.

Stage designers shouldn't need a manual. Drag a target, place a wall, mark a fault line. The rules engine runs in the background; the briefing writes itself; PDFs export in one click.

01

Drag-and-drop
canvas

Paper targets, no-shoots, steel, walls, fault lines, props, special activators — placed on a CAD-style canvas with pan, zoom and grid snap.

02

Live BDS
validation

Minimum rounds, hits-required, no-shoot proximity, fault line geometry — checked continuously against IPSC and BDS rules. Errors flagged the moment they appear.

03

Automatic target
numbering

Targets are numbered automatically based on their position in the stage. Move a target, the numbers renumber. No manual fix-ups, no mismatched briefings.

04

BDS-compliant
briefings

Stage briefings generated automatically per BDS §3.2.1 — start position, rounds required, scoring method, procedure, in English. Edit if needed, or just print.

05

Stage & match
PDFs

Export one stage or the entire match as print-ready A4 landscape PDFs. Each page shows the layout sketch, target legend and briefing side by side.

06

Sanction-ready
output

Sanktionierungsantrag and Ausschreibung PDFs filled in automatically. Submit to DynaSanction with one click — federation sanctioner receives the docs for review.

Two editions · same designer

Cloud module.
Or Windows app.

DynaStage ships in two flavours so you can design wherever you do your best work. The cloud module integrates with the rest of DynaSuite. The Windows desktop app runs entirely offline — no account, no internet, no opinions.

In the suite

DynaStage
Cloud.

Part of the DynaSuite platform. Stages live in the match record alongside registration, scoring and results. Designed and reviewed in your browser, no install.

  • 01Lives inside the match record — no copy/paste
  • 02One click submits to DynaSanction
  • 03Stages flow straight into DynaScore on match day
  • 04Included with the suite — no separate cost
Standalone

DynaStage
Desktop.

A native Windows app for stage designers who work offline. Same canvas, same briefings, same PDFs — no account, no internet required. Export PDFs to share.

  • 01Native Windows 10 / 11 app, ~8 MB installer
  • 02Works fully offline once your key is activated
  • 03Does not sync with the cloud suite — standalone by design
  • 04€29/year, all updates included

Sketch.
Validate.
Submit.

1

Sketch the stage

Drag targets, walls and fault lines onto the canvas. Mark the start position. Add the prop list, the start signal, the scoring method.

2

Validate

Live BDS rule checks tell you what's still missing or non-compliant. Min rounds: 12 · Hits required: 24 · ✓ Valid appears the moment you're done.

3

Submit for sanctioning

One click sends the stage docs to DynaSanction. Federation sanctioner reviews, approves or returns with comments. Resubmit if needed — the loop is tracked.

Questions

Which disciplines?
Handgun, rifle, shotgun and the other BDS disciplines. Each discipline has its own rule set; DynaStage selects the right validation rules based on the match type.
Can I import old stages?
Yes — paste in a stage briefing or load a previously exported DynaStage file. PDF import from third-party tools is on the roadmap for v1.x.
Do my stages stay private?
In the cloud module, your stages belong to your match and your club. Other organizers don't see them. Use the export-import flow if you want to share a stage publicly.
What if BDS updates a rule?
The cloud module's rule pack updates automatically — your next match is validated against the current rules. The desktop app updates with each release during your license year.
